Alessandra Ambrosio’s treasure chest for Victoria’s Secret

Brazilian stunner Alessandra Ambrosio, who is modelling the $2.5 million Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra set, talks about her fitness regime.

It’s an honour bestowed by Victoria’s Secret to a single model each year. Last year it was Australia’s own Miranda Kerr, but this year it has revealed that its $2.5 million Fantasy Bra will be modelled by 31-year-old Alessandra Ambrosio. Previous models of the Fantasy Bra include Adriana Lima, Karolina Kurkova, Gisele Bündchen, Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum and Claudia Schiffer.

Designed by New Jersey-based London Jewelers, the Floral Fantasy Bra set consists of 5,200 precious gems including amethysts, sapphires, tsavorite, rubies and white, pink and yellow diamonds and set in 18-carat rose and yellow gold – and that’s just the low-key version. For a special occasion, there’s also a removable 20-carat white diamond in the centre and a floral belt embellished in jewels. For a mere $500,000 more, it comes with the Bombshell Fantasy Fragrance. The bottle is adorned with pink and yellow diamonds, sapphires, tsavorite, rubies, amethysts, a 10-carat white diamond and a hand-carved tourmaline butterfly.

Ambrosio gave birth to her second child in May this year. She told People.com that she got fit after the birth first by walking and yoga for the first two months, and then adding spin and pilates.

“[The bra set] was perfect for me,” Ambrosio told People.com. “I felt they made it for me. It’s very romantic.”
